John Russell has sent me some pictures of his Unimat Lathe mod, in particular a motorised feed
The prafra unit is now a speed control unit,the control on the right is for
speed.In the center of the unit is a switch to control motor direction (Up
Forward,Down Reverse,Central is off).
The motor is fitted to a gearbox this
belt drives the carriage in the horizontal directions foward or backwards at 1
millimeter per minute in low gear
